Rent electric scooters for employees. Zeway corporate and SME plans cover the scooter, unlimited battery swaps, insurance and maintenance. Free test rides.
Zeway works as a mobility partner, not a vehicle seller, and builds tailored rental schemes for organisations of very different shapes: a tech park moving staff between buildings, an SME putting field teams on two wheels, a campus committing to green mobility. Plans stay flexible on term and on the number of scooters, and the model mix is matched to the way your people actually ride.
A Zeway enterprise mobility solution is more than the vehicle: it takes in the scooter, the charging arrangement and onsite servicing, so your admin team is not left managing repairs, insurance renewals or battery logistics. One thing to budget for separately is damage. Accidental damage, malfunction and theft sit outside the subscription.
The right combination depends on how far your people ride and how long the scooters sit parked. Low-speed models are capped at 25 km/h, which places them outside the registration and licensing requirement for motor vehicles in India, so riders aged 16 and above can use them without a driving licence or an RC. Faster models cover the whole city but do need a valid licence. On charging, every battery detaches and takes four to six hours from an ordinary 16A, 220V socket, which is why an AC 3.3 kW wallbox is usually the sensible fixed charger for two-wheeler parking.
Start with a free test ride and a consultation. We would rather your riders sat on the scooter before you commit to anything. Corporate onboarding then runs on the same KYC as an individual rental with two additions, and the commercial terms are short enough to read in a minute.
Zeway operates in Delhi NCR, and in Delhi NCR, Kanpur, Jaipur, Lucknow and Bhubaneswar. Repair and recharging support runs across Delhi NCR, Kanpur, Jaipur, Lucknow and Bhubaneswar. If your office sits outside these cities, write to support@zeway.in and we will tell you what we can currently cover.
A Zeway rental subscription covers the scooter, unlimited battery swaps, insurance and all maintenance and servicing. For an organisation, the enterprise mobility package also takes in the charging station and onsite servicing at your premises, so the vehicle, the power and the upkeep sit with Zeway. Accidental damage, malfunction and theft are the exceptions and are not covered by the subscription.
Employees do not need a driving licence to ride Zeway's low-speed scooters. These models are capped at 25 km/h, which places them outside the registration and licensing requirement for motor vehicles in India, so riders aged 16 and above can ride them without a driving licence or an RC. Zeway's faster models, which run at 45 to 55 km/h, do require a valid driving licence. A helmet is worth wearing on every ride regardless of the model.
Every Zeway scooter comes with a detachable battery and a charging adapter that works from an ordinary 16A, 220V socket, taking about four to six hours for a full charge, so staff can charge at the office or take the battery home. Sites that want a fixed charge point usually fit an AC 3.3 kW unit (230V, Type 2, 16A), which runs off a normal socket and needs no load upgrade. Where a scooter cannot be off the road, riders use Zeway's battery swapping stations and exchange a low battery for a charged one in under a minute.
Alongside the standard KYC details — Aadhaar, permanent and current address, phone number, email and date of birth — a business also needs to provide its GST and CIN numbers. Payment terms are one month's rent in advance, plus a refundable caution deposit of one month's rent in the first month, paid through any banking mode or UPI. Corporate enquiries can go to support@zeway.in or +91 78383 82226.
