Rent electric scooters for delivery riders in Delhi NCR, Jaipur and Lucknow. Battery swaps, insurance and all maintenance included in the rental.
Battery swapping is what keeps riders on the road
A rider's day is counted in drops, and a scooter sitting on charge is a rider not working. Our rental service is built around a network of battery swapping stations rather than around waiting at a charge point, and every battery is detachable, so a depot supervisor can pull it out and charge it indoors.
When a battery runs low, the rider swaps it for a fully charged one at a nearby Zeway station in under a minute.
Rental subscriptions include unlimited battery swaps, so swapping is not a separate per-use cost to budget for.
Detachable batteries charge from an ordinary 16A, 220V socket, taking roughly four to six hours for a full charge.
Riders can watch the charge level on the on-board display, and public charging points across the city cover an emergency top-up.
All maintenance and servicing stay with us; faults are reported through the Zeway app and our team handles them.
Which scooter fits which delivery beat
The right model depends on how long a rider's beat is and whether your riders hold driving licences. Zeway is not a manufacturer: we source vehicles from a range of OEMs, and our fleet includes e-cycles, custom delivery vehicles and both unregistered and registered electric two-wheelers.
Zeway Lite is capped at 25 km/h with a 30 to 40 km range, for dense hyperlocal beats. Low-speed models need no driving licence or RC, which widens the pool of riders you can hire.
Zeway Plus carries a 3 kWh battery for 90 to 100 km on a charge at 45 to 50 km/h, for riders covering longer distances between drops. It requires a valid driving licence.
Zeway Prime runs at 55 km/h with the same 90 to 100 km range, for riders working across a whole city. It also requires a valid driving licence.
Custom delivery vehicles and e-cycles are available for loads and beats a standard scooter does not suit.
Plans run daily, weekly or monthly, whichever matches how long you need the scooters.
Charging at your own depot: which charger to fit
Swapping covers riders out on the road; a charger at the depot covers the scooters parked at the end of a shift and any cars or three-wheelers in your operation. Zeway supplies, installs and maintains the chargers. The right one depends on how long vehicles actually stay parked at your site, not on how fast a charger sounds on paper, which is what the free site survey settles.
AC 3.3 kW (230V single-phase, 16A, Type 2) is the economical choice for two-wheelers and runs off an ordinary socket.
AC 7.4 kW (230V single-phase, 32A, Type 2) suits a yard where a vehicle sits for several hours between shifts.
AC 22 kW (400V three-phase, 32A, Type 2) is for shared depot parking serving several vehicles a day.
DC 30 kW and DC 60 kW give fast charging for fleet depots where vehicles stop rather than stay.
On the zero-investment option Zeway supplies, installs, operates and maintains the station and you share in the charging revenue; you can also buy the chargers outright with an annual maintenance contract.

How a delivery fleet gets started
We work as a mobility partner with corporates, SMEs, PSUs, government bodies and service delivery companies, so onboarding is set up for organisations rather than individual riders. Start with a consultation and test rides, and the rest is paperwork your finance team will recognise.
Free test rides and a consultation, so your riders sit on the vehicle before you commit to a fleet.
Business KYC: Aadhaar and address details for the account holder, plus GST and CIN numbers for the company. Corporate enquiries go to support@zeway.in.
Payment terms are one month's rent in advance and a refundable caution deposit of one month's rent, through any banking mode or UPI.
Live operations in Delhi NCR, Kanpur, Jaipur, Lucknow and Bhubaneswar, with repair and recharging support across the same cities.
A free site survey for depot charging, which can run alongside the rental discussion.
Questions we are asked
How does battery swapping work for a delivery fleet?
Zeway's electric scooter rental service is built around a network of battery swapping stations. When a rider's battery runs low, they stop at a nearby Zeway station and exchange it for a fully charged battery in under a minute, so the scooter goes back on the road instead of waiting at a charge point. Rental subscriptions include unlimited battery swaps, and because every Zeway battery is detachable it can also be charged from an ordinary 16A, 220V socket in about four to six hours.
Do delivery riders need a driving licence to ride a Zeway electric scooter?
Riders do not need a driving licence on Zeway's low-speed models. Those scooters are capped at 25 km/h, which places them outside the registration and licensing requirement for motor vehicles in India, so riders can use them without a driving licence or an RC. The faster Zeway Plus and Zeway Prime models exceed that limit and do require a valid driving licence. A helmet is worth wearing on every ride whichever model your riders use.
What is included in a Zeway fleet rental subscription?
A Zeway rental subscription covers the scooter itself, unlimited battery swaps, insurance and all maintenance and servicing, and each vehicle is supplied with a detachable battery and a charging adapter. Faults are reported through the Zeway app or the helpline and are handled by Zeway's service team, so repairs are not your workshop's problem. Accidental damage, malfunctioning and theft are not included in the subscription plans.
Which cities can Zeway supply delivery scooters and depot charging in?
Zeway rents electric scooters in Delhi NCR, Kanpur, Jaipur, Lucknow and Bhubaneswar, and operates EV charging stations across the same cities. Support for repairs and recharging is available across Delhi NCR, Kanpur, Jaipur, Lucknow and Bhubaneswar. If your depot sits outside these cities, share the address and our team will assess the site.
Tell us where your riders start their shifts and how many scooters you need, and we will arrange a free consultation, test rides and a site survey for depot charging at no cost.
